SHAPE Kickoff Meeting

The SHAPE kick-off meeting took place on 12-14 November 2019 at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). The project partners discussed the first steps for interdisciplinary collaboration of integrated assessment modellers, industrial ecology researchers and social scientists. Bridging the gap between these disciplines will enable the project to develop pathways that meet both the Paris climate targets and (nearly) all Sustainable Development Goals. As there could be different pathways towards climate stabilization and sustainable development, one of the first main tasks in the project will be to identify the relevant dimensions and branching points.
